Testimonials

Amelia Watson

Whenever my husband and I have needed swimming pool safety inspections, we always have been pleased with the professional jobs done by the pool safety inspectors from Pool Safety Qld. You will be pleased with their prompt and friendly work to ensure the safety of your pool.

Oliver Landsby

When we purchased an older home with an older swimming pool we expected repairs. We found out from neighbours that for a pool certificate, Gold Coast residents always call Pool Safety Qld. Their pool safety inspectors checked out our pool and gave us a clear list of what needed to be fixed. We had the issues taken care of and the same inspectors returned, did their work, and issued us a Qbcc pool safety certificate two days later.

Charlotte Higgins

I was worried that the pool safety inspectors might point out many issues with our old swimming pool that might be too expensive to repair. But, the inspectors from Pool Safety Qld were able to point out the necessary things to fix and we were able to get everything done in one afternoon. They told us that most often the requirements for Form 23 pool safety certificates are quite clear and walked us through everything that we needed to do. I recommend these folks to anyone who asks.

POOL SAFETY CERTIFICATE QUEENSLAND

What are pool safety certificates?

When you have your pool inspected it has to pass several measures of safety. When your pool passes inspection you receive a pool safety certificate attesting to the fact. It is also necessary to have one if you lease or sell your property.

Why do I need a pool safety certificate?

QBCC advises that you will only need a pool safety certificate when you selling your property or leasing out your property.

When do I need to get a pool safety certificate?

QBCC advises that a pool safety certificate will be required before your property sale settlement date or before a new lease/rental commences. If you have concerns about your pool we can perform the inspection outside these requirements.

When would a Re-inspection be required?

A re-inspection would be required when we are unable to get the pool complaint at the initial inspection and work is require on the fence. The inspector would then need to re-inspect when repair works are complete. Refer Fees.

Who can complete repair works?

Your inspector is allowed to complete minor works and would charge by the hour or quote. Larger works will require appropriate trades.

How long does a pool safety certificate last?

QBCC advises that a pool safety certificate is valid for 2 years for non-shared pools (most residential houses) and 1 year for shared-pools (unit complexes etc)

What are Form 23 Pool Safety Certificates?

This is the pool certificate Gold Coast swimming pool owners receive after their pool passes its safety inspection. It’s issued from us via the QBCC website.

What Is a QBCC Pool Safety Certificate?

This is the other name for the Form 23 pool safety certificate. This means that your pool satisfies Queensland safety criteria for swimming pools.

What Do Pool Safety Inspectors Do?

The job of a pool safety inspector is to make certain that your pool complies with legal standards for safety. The inspector will give you a safety certificate if your pool passes inspection or notice of nonconformity if it does not. Individuals doing this work must be licensed to do so.

How Often Must Swimming Pool Safety Inspections Be Carried Out?

A pool safety inspection is required by law if you are leasing, renting, or selling your property. The safety certificate is good for two years for standard residential pools. If your property is leased or is a shared pool. It may only be valid for 1 year.
